As you may know, California overturned the ban on gay marriage and effective June 17, 2008 we were eligible to be married legally. Kevin and I decided to get married that day for legal purposes and are looking forward to the formal wedding and reception celebration with all of you on August 17th.

The big event will be held on Sunday, August 17th at The Grand Event Center in Long Beach, CA. It is located at 4101 E Willow Street. The ceremony will be outside under a tent and begin at 6 pm. You are able to arrive as early as 530 pm and will be able to wait inside and enjoy a drink at the bar. It is a cash bar so be sure to bring enough money to enjoy a few cocktails and prepare for the gala event.

It will be a Summer evening, so be sure you dress so you are not too hot. The ceremony will be outside and reception inside.

I hope you are ready for fun! We will have a dj playing a variety of music, buffet to satisfy everyones cravings and food choices and best of all laughter, love and memories! Loosen your belt buckle a few notches, put on your "eatin' dress" and dance shoes....

The reception will be from approximately 630 pm - 1130 pm and located at the same location as the ceremony but in the Garden Lenai Room.

Kevin and I will be flying to New York on Sunday, August 24th for our honeymoon and returning on Sunday, August 31st. We can't wait to experience New York and all it has to offer!!

We want to thank all of our family and friends who have been so supportive of us and our happiness. The warm thoughts and caring support has enabled us to grow as a couple and realize our love for each other is stronger than ever.
