Brett and I met at Valley Center High School in August of 2006 where he was a Basketball Coach and English Teacher and I was going to be a School Counselor. After a week of talking in the halls he sent me an email asking me out on a date. I was so excited...I thought he was awesome!! We went to Chili's for dinner and then played miniature golf at All Star Sports. We had so much fun that we agreed to meet for breakfast the next morning at Egg Cetra in downtown Wichita. From then on we have been pretty much inseperable and have grown to love each other more and more each day. I have learned the ropes of being a "coach's girlfriend" and Brett has met the trials and tribulations of a 3 year old with flying colors!
On May 5th, 2008 Brett proposed...of course I said YES, he is so wonderful to me!! I can't imagine anything better than spending the rest of my life with him. Brett drove 6 hours roundtrip to Kansas City and back after track practice that day to pick up my ring. He said that he had almost been in a car accident and it made him realize that there are some things in life that you should not wait for! AHHH...I know, how sweet! He got back to our apartment at 11:00 that night and got down on his knees and asked me to marry him.
On May 8th, we closed on our new house in Valley Center. Shortly after that Brooke, Brett, and I moved in. We are all enjoying our home very much! We are getting settled in and looking forward to being united in marriage and celebrating our new family with all of you on July 18th, 2009!
Our Wedding Ceremony, Dinner, Reception, and Dance will all be held at the Petroleum Club (100 N. Broadway Street) on the top floor of the Bank of America Building overlooking downtown Wichita on July 18th, 2009. The ceremony will begin at 7:00pm with the dinner, reception, and dance immediately following.
We will have a block of rooms reserved at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Wichita if you wish to stay there. I will post information on prices and contacting the hotel soon. They will be providing a shuttle service to and from the Petroleum Club so that you will not have to worry about enjoying a few drinks at the bar!

We want to thank all of our family and friends that have been there for us throughout our relationship and have helped to make this day possible! We are looking forward to celebrating the union of our family with all of you next July!
Since we already have many of the traditional registry items, we are registering for "memories" or pieces of our honeymoon. You can help us make our honeymoon trip very special, or if you prefer something more traditional we have also registered for some items that we are still lacking in our new home. The very best gift that you could give us, however, is joining us on July 18th, 2009 to celebrate our marriage!
