We met at a singles bonfire our church had. We had seen each other before but had not formally met. That was a great night, by the end we realized how much we had in common. As we both left we were both surprised how much we had enjoyed each others company. After that we did not talk again for a month or so. We saw each other a church but did not connect.
Then came the day that a man at my job needed his car detailed. With much excitement I dialed Eric's number and had him come meet my co-worker. Eric got the job and would be coming to my office once a week. I was so excited. That is where it all began, lunch breaks filled with walks along the beach or picnics at the park. We became best friends.
A year and a half later all that changed. We were on our way to lunch after church and Eric took me to our favorite restaurant. After eating he took me for a walk along the beach. We stopped at a cliff over looking the Pacific Ocean. It was a warm August day. He had me guess what was in his pocket. I guessed the usual keys, wallet, and cell. Then he removed a box. Oh wow, I was so excited. He then told me it was a necklace to show how much he loves me. My heart dropped. I tried really hard not to show my disappointment. As I opened the box he dropped to both knees, right there in the sand. It was the RING! What a joker.

Our wedding will be held on August 8, 2008 at Ambassador Family Church at 6:00 pm
