Well as many of you already know, Antwone and Stephanie both attended San Diego State University ("SDSU"). However, they did not know one another. Stephanie knew of a lot of Antwone's friends and Antwone knew of Stephanie's friends but did not know them personally. However, they did not know each other. Of course Antwone does recall an incident that took place at a fashion show held at SDSU when one of his teammates, who will remain nameless (you know who you are :-D), walked down the catwalk with Stephanie and as they crossed each other the teammate pulled Stephanie towards him, which was NOT PART OF THE REHEARSAL, and wrapped his arms around her waist (please keep in mind that she was wearing pj's that was a short dress with a g-string on) and her pj's went up and her butt was exposed to the world. And of course who was in the audience...Antwone of course. Antwone doesn't remember seeing Stephanie on campus but he does remember seeing her butt at the fashion show. Years passed and Antwone and Stephanie crossed paths again when they were introduced by two of friends. Stephanie didn't want to date an athlete, but she soon grew to love Antwone's big arms and big hands. Antwone made Stephanie feel like she was the sun, the stars, and the moon. And Stephanie made Antwone feel like he can accomplish the world. It has been almost 4 years since they met and they are still going strong. How They Got Engaged: The engagement was automatic. They have always knew that this was going to happen. It became official in January 2008. Stephanie was lying in the bed with Antwone and they just looked at each other and said "What are we waiting for? Let's do it?" Ok...so not very romantic right...but it was for them and that is all that matters!!!

Friday, February 6 will consist of the bridal shower for Stephanie at a house in Newport Beach (invitations will be sent out and it will include the address and time), and a party bus that will depart from the house that same evening. The party bus will consist of both guys and girls so please let us know if you are interested in joining us...space is limited (someone will be getting contact with each of you to make arrangements). The wedding will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 5 pm SHARP aboard the DESTINY cruise ship in Newport Beach (Electra Cruises, 3439 Via Oporto,Newport Beach, CA 92663). The boat departs on time and will leave anyone who is not on the boat at that time. So to avoid being left at the dock while the rest of us party the night away...PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE!! Directions: From Los Angeles - take 405 or 5 freeway south to 55 (Newport Beach)...55 south, continue on Newport Boulevard...continue over the Coast Highway Bridge...when you see the bay on your left, turn left on Via Lido...make first left into the brick parking structure. Parking Structure (3434 Via Lido): Enter parking structure from Via Lido and park on second level...exit parking structure on bay side...walk down stairs (or use elevator) to ground level of Lido Village...turn right at the fountain, walk south and enter Electra Cruises on your right.

The "cocktail" reception will take place immediately after the ceremony aboard the DESTINY cruise ship. Please come in your best cocktail attire. Antwone and Stephanie want their wedding to be a night of partying and having a good time with family and friends. Because they are not a "traditional" couple, this will not be a "traditional" wedding. With that said there will not be a sit down dinner, but they will offer plenty of hors d’ oeuvres and drinks to keep everyone satisfied. This will be one wedding that you will not forget and I promise you it will be like no other!!

For those that may be coming in from out of town, please let me know if you are in need of a hotel. I will work on getting a group rate if enough people want it. Please let me know if you need a room and I will contact each of you to give you the arrangements.
