Dan and I met on March 8, 2008 at the Gold Hill Youth Retreat. He was walking around looking lonely so Kim Hunter and I asked if he'd like to join us for a game of cards. He replied with a "No. But I'll watch." The week following the retreat the Charlotte Ave. gospel meeting started and Kim and I asked Dan if he'd like to go. He did and I wasn't really interested in him much until we began emailing each other! We started dating in May of 2008 and were engaged by August! (Let's just say the man knows a good thing when he's got it!) Dan proposed at Middleton Place (an old Plantation outside of Charleston) while sitting in a tree with me. It was sweet and simple...just like us!

We are thrilled to be marrying one another! And we are so thankful to everyone for helping us make our Wedding Day a happy occasion!
