We, Marlon and Sara met on Good Friday at the St. David's Cricket Club. We talked a little and he asked me for my phone number. I told him that I do not give out my home number because I have two sons at home, so he gave me his instead.

It was by coincidence, we saw each other in Hamilton some time later, and almost bumped into each other going around the same corner. We briefly talked, then he invited me to lunch. We met at the restaurant, ate lunch and talked some more. When the check came, he was looking in his bag for the money, so I asked him did he have enough money because I can pay for my own lunch. He laughed and said, if he didn't have money, he wouldn't have invited me.

The next time we saw each other, I was going to the movies. I called him to say hi, and he asked me what I was doing and he asked me if I wanted some company, so I accepted. At the movies, he tried to put his arm around me, but I pushed it away and told him that he does not have that privilege yet. As time went by, we went out more together, enjoyed each others company, had the same goals and realized that we were meant to be together.

Marlon proposed to me on Christmas Day 2007 in St. Kitt's. The gentleman that I knew him for, went down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I said 'YES' and the rest is history!

Marlon and Sara will be married for time and all eternity on Saturday, April 11, 2009. They will be sealed by the groom's sister and bride's brother on the boardwalk at Clearwater Beach opposite Gombey's at 11:00 am. Our reception will follow immediately after the service at Gombey's.
