Alicia Berbenick & Ryan Dausch
Location: Montauk Light House Museum, New York
It's always been a place we could venture off to in the middle of the night - the Montauk Lighthouse. When Ryan's mom was doing research and found that we could be married there, we knew this was the definite place for our ceremony. If you've never been there, we're giving you the perfect opportunity to come and share it with us. Overlooking the water up on Turtle Hill stands the Montauk Lighthouse and museum. As our guest, you will be granted privilege to roam the grounds and garden, take a walk up to the top of the lighthouse and view the museum display to get a sense of the history of Long Island, not to mention the most beautiful 180-degree view of the Atlantic.

If you would like more information and photos, please visit their website at www.montauklighthouse.com
At first, we were just so enthusiastic about the ceremony that we forgot to find a place for the reception. My mother recommended the Hither Hills campgrounds and soon after we were in constant contact with the park manager about all the details. Hither Hills has one of the greatest reputations for being the perfect campground for families to gather as it is located 5 miles away from the lighthouse and right on the beach. High up on a plateau, there is a grazing picnic area for larger parties and weddings. When you're there with us, you'll immediately notice the gorgeous view of the ocean, as the reception site is atop the bluffs of Hither Hills. Our caterer, Christine Borzell of Sur La Table, is preparing the freshest and most natural of foods for you so that you can thoroughly enjoy this breezy beach atmosphere. The reception is scheduled to begin at 3:30 and tear down will occur around 9.

For more information about camping at Hither Hills the weekend of the wedding, please call (631) 668-2554 and ask for Tom, the site manager, to let him know you are coming specifically for our wedding. Hurry, though, because camping spots here do not last.

We are currently booking hotels, but are requesting a certain number. If you would like to be placed in a hotel, contact my mother, Judie Berbenick at (631) 846-4200. She will either contact the hotel or point you in the direction of one that we are working with.
