The ceremony AND reception will be at the Legacy Lodge on Lake Lanier Islands on August 15, 2009. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 followed by the reception. Dress is dressy/casual- think summer dresses. The reception is buffet style with an open bar. The band is Tyler Reeve band- FSU grads should be familiar if you frequented AJ's as often as I did.

The nearest airport is Atlanta Hartsfield airport. If you are flying in please contact one of us. The airport is roughly 30 miles away and you will spend a fortune on a cab. Either us or a family member will do our best to coordinate pick ups.

From the South: Take 75N/85N. You will go through Atlanta. Merge onto 985 N. Go to the second exit: Friendship Road/Lake Lanier Islands. Turn left off of exit ramp. Follow that ramp until it dead ends at the Lake Lanier Islands gate. Once you reach the gate the attendant can direct you to the Legacy Lodge.

You can book a room, cabin, or villa at the Legacy Lodge. There is a Comfort Inn & Suites on Friendship Road as well if you are looking for a more moderately priced option.
