Just for the record, Eric and I are not the partying types. We spent most of our college days staying at home and studying. So, as hard as it is to believe, Eric and I met on a Friday night at his friend’s party (Chris Wagner, actually, his best man). We talked and flirted all night long, but it started to get late and my roommates were ready to call it a night. I was waiting for Eric to ask for my phone number…but he never did. So, I decided to ask for his. A couple of days later, I called him, asking him to go and see a play at UC Davis with me for my drama class. (Little did I know how much crap he would get from his friends for accepting to go on such a cheesy date with me). We had a great time and continued to talk on the phone and hang out on weekends. Before long, we were pretty much inseparable and have been ever since.
So, it was really no big surprise to me that Eric would propose, but I had no idea when or where. Eric, on the other hand, had been planning for months, so everyone and their mother knew before me. It turned out to be perfect! We had plans to go up to Mammoth Mountain for a couple of nights to celebrate my graduation. He was acting a little weird the whole way up there, but I figured he ate something weird for lunch that had not settled well. The second we got up to our hotel room and had started to relax, he popped to question. He said he could not wait a second longer or it would have ruined his entire trip. It did not come our quite right, but I knew what he meant. :)

Our wedding will be held at The Ridge Resort in the beautiful mountains of Lake Tahoe on Saturday the 19th of September, 2009. Don't worry guys, the casinos are only about 20 minutes away and shuttles are available to transport you there and back. :)

Our reception will also be at the Ridge Resort immediately to follow.

If you would like to stay at The Ridge, kindly mention one of our names Lucia Cavallo or Eric Pahler and you will be given a discount for booking a two night stay. However, as I mentioned earlier, the casinos are about 20 minutes away in South Shore, Lake Tahoe as well as condos and cabins if you are staying with a larger group.

As a young couple there is nothing we need more than a little help to finance our honeymoon. Thank you so much for checking out our website and we hope you decide to go with a honeymoon gift for our wedding! Can't wait to see you all there!! :)
