Melissa and Jason are extremely excited to share our favorite spot with our closest family and friends. Vieques, PR is a beautiful island where we share many wonderful memories. We will be sending this information out directly to you as well. We do have many of your addresses, but please don't hesitate to email us directly at missybuff26@yahoo.com or jtrenouth10@yahoo.com to provide us with your mailing address. Thanks!

Greetings Friends!
We are very excited about our upcoming wedding in Vieques, Puerto Rico, and we hope that all of you will be able to join us to help celebrate. Because Puerto Rico is a part of the United States, you don’t need a passport to get there.
Vieques may be unlike any place you’ve ever visited – it’s a tiny island, just 20 miles by 5 miles, located 7 miles off the Eastern tip of Puerto Rico. It has beautiful unspoiled beaches, wild horses roaming free, and a bioluminescent bay that glows at night. We want to share this little piece of paradise (a secret gem of the Caribbean) with you, before the rest of the world discovers the island.
Due to the size of the island, there are a very limited number of hotels, and even fewer rental car agencies, on Vieques. As a result, it’s critically important that you make your hotel reservations and rental car arrangements as soon as possible in order to guarantee you’ll have what you need in February. There is no reliable mode of public transportation on the island, so everybody needs to secure a rental car as soon as possible. Don’t delay or your might find yourself trying to lasso one of the wild horses on the island to get to the beach!
We recommend that all of our guests plan to arrive no later than Thursday, February 4, 2010, in order to participate in all of the great activities we’ve got planned. When booking your airline reservations to San Juan, try to arrive in Puerto Rico as early in the day as possible. There are no flights into or out of Vieques after dark. If you arrive too late in the day, you may have to spend a night in San Juan before traveling to Vieques. Likewise, try to book the latest flight home from San Juan to allow for time to get from Vieques to the big airport.
If you have questions or problems with your accommodations or transportation, please feel free to email our wedding planner Sandy Malone at info@weddinginvieques.com and she’ll do her best to help.
We look forward to seeing you in Vieques in February!
Melissa and Jason

Please try to make your arrangements ASAP. The rental cars are going fast and so are more affordable hotel/housing options. Please contact us if you need any help or advice! We have been traveling to these islands for years and have good tips and insight if you have any questions!

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift you can give us. Providing registry options is there for convenience but please consider your attendance as the only gift we truly expect.
