Our Story
We met on a blind date June 26, 2007. It ended up being a 4 hour lunch with a lot of stories, laughing and of course, sarcasm. In fact, we had so much fun that we met again that evening! Regan remembers thinking that Craig’s smile and dimples were pretty irresistible and was really curious to get to know him better. He remembers how happy he was to finally meet her in person, her white skirt and how beautiful she looked.
It didn’t take long before “playing hard to get” went completely out the window and we knew we were on to something very special. We quickly fell in love with each other and with our families and became excited about a future together. During the last two years we have had an incredible time and built a relationship based on respect, trust, encouragement, love of family and friends (and dogs), fun and a little craziness! We both love to work hard and play hard. We are often told that we are a “favorite couple” because anyone who spends time with us can see how much we love and cherish each other. And how easy it is for us to be together.
Regan describes Craig as gregarious, silly, loyal, romantic, focused, self-disciplined, attentive, smart, strong, charming, energetic, kind, and sexy.
Craig describes Regan as an all-American girl, sexy, smart, gorgeous, funny, intelligent, stubborn, loving, caring, and the most patient person when it comes to Craig ever!
Craig proposed on Christmas day 2008. We had been talking about marriage for a while but Regan was still very surprised since Craig and Pat (Regan’s mom) had convinced her it wouldn’t happen until at least February. She enthusiastically said YES and we are so excited to officially start our lives together!
Our Wedding
We are so excited to have our wedding at Regan’s parents’ beautiful home on Lake Travis. It will begin at 5pm on August 8th and it’s going to be HOT so we recommend sundresses for the ladies and light slacks for the guys. (Think resort-wear, linen, etc.) This was literally the only weekend of the year that worked for us and both our families and we know it is going to be such a blast you will forgive us for the heat. :)
You might want to also pack a bag with flip-flops, your swimsuit and towel for some late-night swimming after the reception. We aren’t planning on an early night and hope you aren’t either!!!

SUNDAY, AUGUST 9th –
Anyone who wants to hang out with us on Sunday is welcome to return to the Danforth’s home for a pool party. If there is water in lake (fingers crossed), I’m sure some people will come by boat and you can rent boats, jet skis, or just lounge with us on tubes. Bring your suits and towels. We will have the grill going for lunch if you would like to bring something for a potluck BBQ!
