Our Story
As most of you already know. Mario and I meet on line. Yea, go figure LOL!! As busy as we both were. Mario working 2 jobs and myself working a full time job and going back to school after 10+ yrs out of high school to get my massage diploma. It's kinda hard to find time for a social life. Knowing I had to be dedicated and focused on my school and here and there time to hang out from time to time it made it really hard to meet someone or even go out on a date knowing I had to study for Monday's test which always kept me from going out and having fun like I used to. And as for Mario, he had his hands full as well w/working a full time job as well as a part time job on the weekends which only gave him Sundays to play with. So leave it to me to be on yahoo personals one night and came across his profile. Yup!!! It was I who spotted him first. He only had one picture on his profile and have to say.... his picture really attracted me to him let alone what his profile had to say. Our interest were very similar and what we were looking for in a partner as well. So I figured, ehhh let's leave him a message so I did. I sent him a message on a Thursday night and he responded back on a Friday. We introduced our selves to each other through typing messages through yahoo's dating site and that's how it all started. I ended up giving him my # and guess what lady's.....of course he didn't end up calling me till the next day. LOL!!! But behold he called me while I was studying. His voice was sweet and sexy that I had to ask him if he was doing anything that day. And of course he had to say just working at night. So I said what duh Heck...would you like to go out for a drink right now? We agreed to meet up at T.G.I.F by South Coast Plaza. Now let me say...the pic I saw of him on line showed he had hair. LOL!!! But when we meet up he was bald. LOL!! So I wasn't sure if I was meeting the right person (yea, things like this is what happens when you go on a blind date). Little did we know we would end up being at Fridays for about 5hrs just talking away. And since then. We've been inseparable.
Our Wedding
Our Ceremony will be healed at St. Columbian Catholic Church, 1081 Stanford Ave., Garden Grove, CA 92840 @ 2:00 pm on November 14,2009.
Our Reception
Our Reception will be healed at "Spring Field Banquet & Conference Center" in down town Fullerton. 501 N. Harbor Blvd., Fullerton, CA 92832. Dinner will be served between 6:30 pm- 8:00 pm. Following dinner will be entertainment by our DJ & Live Band called "Flirts" from 9:00 pm till 12:00am. Hope to see you all there to dance our feet off all night. =-)
Travel Arrangements
You may book your hotel room with Crowne Plaza Fullerton which is 2.2 miles from Spring Field Banquet Center (reception location). Please inform them that your with the party for Mario & Rosie Nunez wedding. They provide complimentary parking as well as a discount rate of $99.00 per night.
Transportation: Courtesy shuttle service avaliable within 5 miles of the hotel is provided for guest. From the 91 west, exit East Street/Raymond Ave. and turn right. Hotel is on the right.
