As many of you know, Dave and I met over 3 years ago, what some of you may not know is how we met... believe it or not, we met through Match.com. I was the first person he ever met, and as he likes to put it "we met on a street corner", as that may technically be true, we were actually heading to the wine bar across the street. I know, go figure, Dave and Brandi had their first date at a wine bar... and well their second date in the Temecula Wine Country... (and then many more adventures, about 3-5 a year to Santa Barbara Wine Country as well as Sonoma Wine Country) I know we are total wine snobs now!
Anyway, we always knew that each other was the one, and then this past April on our 3 year anniversary, he finally made it official. It was a moonlit night on the porch of our cabin in Julian, and yes he actually got down on bended knee, that is about all I really remember, as well, my world shut off at that moment, and all I saw was him, boy do I wish I remember exactly what he said, oh well, I know it was wonderful because that just what he does. So that is a brief summary of us, we are who we are, and we are SO happy to be finally moving forward to that next step in our relationship.

We are excited to be having our fabulous and fun ceremony in Vegas with all of our friends and family able to join us. I do believe that our ceremony and weekend will be totally amazing and FUN!!! Of course knowing who we are (and Fears's penchant for FUN... ) it will be a VERY full weekend and event overall!!! Looking forward to having everyone there that can make it, and know that we will celebrate with those who are unable to make it later... as we are always up for a reason to cook/eat and drink wine and well just have a good time with friends!

The restaurant we have chosen is Trevi, in the forum shops at Caesar's Palace. The website looked lovely, and they are totally accommodating, so I am actually excited. It is a unique event, in that we are simply all going out to dinner ( everyone on their own), however, the restaurant is holding a group of tables together for everyone from the wedding. The food looks yummy, and they have an amazing bar, that should be good news for all of our guests... oh and it is Italian food, yummy!

We were totally lucky and we have a room at THE hotel at Mandalay Bay, well actually a suite! We arrive on Friday, and stay through until Sunday... yea! Fun Times!
