Mariel and I attended Barbers Hill High School in Mont Belvieu, Tx together. The funny thing about that is we never even talked during that time. We started our relationship in Nacogdoches, Texas where I attended and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University. She was in town for Joe Ham's graduation party, that is her sister's husband. That was in May of 2004, and we have been together ever since. At the time we met, Mariel was living in Austin and attending The University of Texas where she graduated in May of 2006. She is now an Early Childhood Invtervention Specialist in Baytown and I Teach and Coach at Barbers Hill. In February of 2006, I proposed to Mariel in Austin at the top of Mount Bonnell, and unknowingly to her, both of our families were present.

We will be getting married at St. Mary Catholic Church in La Porte on June 9, 2007. That date just happens to be my mom and dad's 35th wedding anniversary.

Our reception will be held at the Garten Verein, in Galveston. This is a very beautiful building that is part of the Galveston Historical Foundation.
